About the Sacrament of Marriage

"But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.  For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.  So they are no longer two but one flesh."  ~Mark 10:6-8

What is Marriage?
The Pastoral letter by the Catholic Bishops of the United States on Marriage states:
"Marriage is a natural institution established by God the Creator.  It is a permanent, faithful, fruitful partnership between one man and one woman, established by their free mutual consent."
